"URRRRRAHAHHHSHHA" Berrypool yelled, but this push didn't work as well, because she could feel the kit stuck, wait! It was stuck because there were two! she puched harder "UGGGGHHHHHAKIHJG OBUY" The two final kits popped out, Berrypool got up to look at her joys. She only expected 4, but she got 5. And the last one only had 3 legs! They were all so cute, 2 girls and 3 boys.

Softsight gasped, looking up at Stormpelt. "Make another bed." She said, before giving Berrypool a satisfied smile. "Great job." She said calmly.

'Let me see my babies." She said trying to get ahold of the one legged one. "I, i had 5! This ones name will be Crookkit. He will then be Crookpaw, and then Crookshanks!" She sad licking the baby kit clean.

Stormpelt brought all the kits to Berrypool before he licked her head. "I need to make more nests, but they are so beautiful, just like you" he said.

Jaykit poked her head out from behind Silvermoon, hearing that the yelling stopped.

Softsight nodded, standing and padding over to Silvermoon and Jaykit. She laid beside the two, smiling. "Alright, what's the trouble over here?" She asked in a soft tone.

Silvermoon looked at Softsight as Jaykit ducked down. "I found her alone with no scent of any other cats near" she replied. "She said her mother called her Jay, and I like Jaykit for her. Do you think you can take care of her until she becomes an apprentice" she asked.

Late and off time, Hartroot and Clovertail arrived at the scene. Hartroot walked over to Berrypool and observed the kittens. "Well," Hartroot started, "You performed an unprofessional, probably dangerous, and mostly unsupervised birth... BUT nothing went wrong, and you gave birth to 5 kittens. I'd say that you triumphed greatly. I'll probably want to check up on all of them to make sure they're all healthy", she looked at the disabled kitten. "And that 3-legged one is lucky to be alive, I definitely need to investigate that". Hartroot gave a big smile, then, glancing around she spotted Jaykit. Squinting, Hartroot said, "When did we get another one of... No matter, though I'll ALSO have to check that one". I sure have my fair share of work, don't I, Hartroot thought.

"Jeez, Hartroot," Clovertail jeered "Can't you lighten up for once? All the kits were successfully delivered, right?"

Lichenpaw walked into the Warrior's Den and over to Milofur.
"Um, Milofur? You should wake up now. Berrypool's kits were delivered, and I think we should go see them." He said softly

Hartroot looked at Clovertail, "It was dangerous. I have reason to be frightened". Looking back at Silvermoon, she thought for a moment, then said, "I'll check her, but I'll need some herbs from my den. It'll just be the basic stuff. Some Lavender in case she has fever and, unfortunately, Mouse Bile in case she has any ticks."

Stormpelt nodded and headed to the medicine cats den to get the herbs that Hartroot mentioned.

Silvermoon watched as Stormpelt left he den and stood up, allowing Jaykit to be seen by everyone in the den.

Milofur looked around, then loudly said, "It's okay, little Lichenpaw, it's all good. Wait... did you say that there was... NO FOOD!?!?!?!? AGHHHH"

Hartroot walked away and grabbed something in the distance. She came back and put it in front of Berrypool. "Eat up. It's Borage leaves- it increases the milk that you have. You're going to need to feed all 5 kittens."

Silvermoon groomed Jaykit once more, feeling like a mother to the kit, but knew she wasn't ready to take on the responsibility and hoped Softsight would be happy to be a mother to the kit.

Stormpelt came rushing back in with the herbs and started grooming Berrypool again.
