Mel stuck out her tongue at Mira before turning to Z and blinking. "Oh. Je m'appelle Mel! Ravi de vous rencontrer." She offered kindly, dropping her arms to her sides.

"Look, a Pokémon from Unova!" Riu noted.

Riu snorted and rolled his eyes. It sounded to him like Shadow was a mere servant, but then again he'd just met these people, so he had no place to judge.

"Stop," Mel said, casting Riu a swift glare. "You're awful."

Riu returned the glare, but with no heat behind the look. He shrugged and refrained from asking anymore questions, deciding right then and there that he didn't like Shadow.

Mel had spent a little over twelve years with him, and she immediately guessed what he was thinking. "Riu," She sighed. "Don't make such quick decisions."

Toka poked him with her tail. Mira rolled her eyes. "By the way, do you want this card? I modeled this one after Riu, after all..." She held out the Lucario card to Mel.

"Wait, you made this?" Mel asked in shock, accepting the card and looking at it. "Wow, that's amazing! You're amazing!" She grinned. She'd zoned out while the others had been talking. "Have you seriously been doing this for three years?"

Riu swatted playfully at her tail.

Toka stole her tail away and bonked Riu on the head with it.

"I will buy all of your cards." Mel promised with a grin. "Gosh, I feel like a proud mother." She snickered, still looking at the card. It was really well done, all the details were there.

Riu let out some kind of unholy screeching sound, grabbing Toka's tail and wrapping himself around it.

Mira giggled. "I'm glad you like it! I have more on me, if you want to see..."

Toka swished her tail, laughing. She ran around on all fours with Riu hanging off of her tail.

Shadow burst out laughing at the two other Pokémon while Z just gave a small giggle. “I can see your bonds are strong, both with your Pokémon and each other.” She said in her sweet, calm voice.

"Sure sweetie!" : Pixie's mom said. Pixie's jaw dropped: "Thank you, thank you thank you!" : She ran up to her mom and gave her a big hug. She then ran out the door shouting: "I promise to tell you all about it when I win the pokémon league!"

Mel struck a dramatic pose. "Hell yeah I wanna see! I gotta know how you've been doing, and here's my answer!"

Riu screeched and clung to Toka's tail tightly, refusing to let go.

"Yeah. I've had Riu since I was like four." Mel said, glancing at Z, still in an odd position. "And it's been years since I've seen these dorks."

Tiger looked over to Z and nodded. Cyndaquil looked at her from where he sat on his hat. "We've been through a lot" he said kindly and smiled. Cyndaquil looked at Shadow curiously and tilted his head. "I'm Tiger by the way, and this is my buddy Cyndaquil" Tiger introduced himself and his Pokémon. Cyndaquil then waves to Z and Shadow cheerfully.

Mira laughed slightly, pulling out a few more cards and handing them to Mel--Dragonair, Slowbro, Tangela, Arcanine, and Golduck. "You know it!" She said to Z. "I wouldn't trade my pokemon for anyone else in the whole universe. As for these pokemaniacs, they're essentially those weird relatives that live really far away and when you see them, all kinds of hell break loose. At least, to me."

Toka started to hover slightly off the ground. "Don't kill him, Toka," Mira advised.
