Samuel giggled softly, face flushing. He picked up a spoon,
dipping it into the warm soup and fishing out its contents. He took
a bite, humming in a satisfied tone. He swallowed. "This is quite
good, miss." He purred, shifting in his seat and dipping his spoon
in again.
Lithar took a bite of his soup and nodded his head in agreement.
"As amazing as always Martha." Martha smiled happily before getting
a bowl for herself to eat.
Samuel finished up his soul quickly. "Uh, what are
these...?" He said softly as he picked up his cookie. He tilted his
head at the baked good. "I mean, what kind of cookie is it?" He
hummed quietly, giving Lithar a glance.
"Oh!" Samuel hummed and gave a smile. "Ok!" He said with a
smile. He bit into it with a soft hum, chewing and swallowing.
"These are good cookies..." He murmured, shifting in his seat again
and taking another nibble.
Sam smiled softly. "Sorry... I might accidentally call you
miss or ma'am every once in a while, but it's a weird habit..." He
said with a soft tone, face flushing as he reaches up and rubbed
the back of his neck.
Samuel gave a soft laugh. "Oof, I hope I don't accidentally
call you that. No promises, though." He giggled, running a hand
through his white locks with a smile on his lips. His nose twitched
a bit as he smiled.
"Don't worry if you do dear." Martha mused. "Now then I think
someone has work to go do." She mused giving Lithar a pointed work.
"I'm going I'm going." Lithar mused holding his hand up and getting
out of his seat. "Samuel, do you mind meeting me in my study in an
hour?" He asked with a sweet yet still serious smile.
Samuel got out of his seat. "Of course, sir. May I ask what
for?" He hummed softly, hesitance in his tone. He was still a bit
nervous about talking to Lithar, though he did find his anxiety
quite stupid. Lithar seemed nice.
Samuel gave a quiet sigh. "That's good. I was worried for a
moment..." He admitted softly, heading towards the door and opening
it for Lithar with a kind grin.
"Don't worry, you'll know if you're in trouble. Most of the time we
are lax around here so it would be an odd occurrence if you in
trouble." Lithar mused before thanking Samuel.
Lithar chuckled a bit before making his way to his study. He had to
admit Sam was a breath of fresh air in this dreary place. He
reminds me a lot of Richard. He thinks to himself as he enters
his study and working on the paperwork Martha had mentioned
earlier.
Samuel watched Lithar walk off, and headed to his room. He
ran a hand through his hair, picking up the novel on his bedside
table. He sat on his bed, kimono fanning out like a gorgeous red
halo around him. He flipped open the book, thin fingers resting on
the papers.
