Tiger blinked and looked over to Toka. Cyndaquil sighed and continued on ahead. The Pidgey on Tiger's wrist then saw a Team Rocket grunt chasing a small blue Pokémon.

Riu flicked his ears and tugged Mel's sleeve, gruffing and gesturing ahead.

"What's going on?" Mel asked softly, looking ahead nervously.

Tiger glanced at Pidgey. "I say we go ahead and do so...but it seems that it's one grunt, and from the looks of it... he's a game corner worker. He'll be really easy to trick" he mumbled and nodded to Cyndaquil the Pokémon then ran through the grass swiftly.

"What the! Another wild Pokémon!?" The grunt said in confusion and abandoned the fleeing blue Pokémon. He then slowly went to the tall grass that Cyndaquil was running through.

"So you just plan on confusing him?" Mel asked quietly. "I can't help then. Riu and Dewott aren't from around here." Her eyes lit up. "Eevee is!" She exclaimed softly, reaching into her backpack, digging around to find the pokeball.

With a small flash, Eevee appeared, shaking out her fur and chirping happily. The shiny pranced over to Riu and hauled herself onto his shoulder.

Kakuna was soon defeated after a well placed Flame Burst by Blaze. Blaze was poisoned from Poison Sting. Bugsy sent out Scyther.
I wouldn’t be able to switch... Atleast not without losing my Pokemon's speed." Victor thought, looking at the sticky web and commanded smokescreen.
Scyther was now busy flapping away the smoke with his wings, and Blaze attacked with Flame Burst, which ended up being a direct hit.
Scyther used Fury Cutter, hitting Blaze, and Blaze countered with Ember, making Scyther faint.

"Congrats!" Bugsy said, recalling his Pokemon and giving Victor his gym badge. Victor put the badge in its case, thanked Bugsy and texted Tiger. Where are you all?

Toka shook her head at Mira. "You have to like her at some point," Mira pointed out, letting out Char. She sat, tail wagging, tongue lolling out of her mouth. "Okay. Wait for the signal."

The grunt growled as the Pokémon confused him. The grass waved wildly as Char and Eevee joined in. Tiger then nodded and whipered "now" in Pokémon. Cyndaquil then used a swift knocking the grunt back.

Char called a battle cry ("Was that really necessary? I would have been quiet...") And leapt into battle, using flame wheel.

The grunt froze in shock as Char hit him with the flame wheel. Tiger looked around and saw the blue Pokémon hiding under a rock. "Show yourselves!" The grunt yelled and tried to find the Pokémon attacking him.

Toka refrained from saying something about how that attack really shouldn't have worked or that it was clumsily executed. She knew it wasn't. Char looked like she was having a blast, using a quick ember before ducking back into some bushes.

"Did they start the plan already?" Victor sighed, and sent Star to search for Tiger and the others. The Noctowl flew in the air to look for any possible signs of struggle and/or battle.

Cyndaquil used an aerial Ace and called out quickly. The grunt fell over "fine keep the prize Dratini's! We have more in shipment anyway!" He snapped and fled the forest.
