Oliver walked to the dining hall early, sitting down
carefully. He folded his hands in his lap, shifting in his seat. He
leaned down, pulling a book out from under his chair. He opened it
to his bookmark, and began to read silently.
Christopher used his microphone, and announced to the competitors:
"If you're ready for dinner, you may head down the hall into the
dining hall." He said, and Oliver glanced up warily. He sighed,
looking back at his book.
Sean heard the announcement and sneaked off while his servant was
trying to find fancy clothes. He started walking down the halls to
find the dining room. He never really liked to wear anything except
his normal clothes.
Nyx and Lithar both look up at the announcement. They were playing a
game of cards to pass the time."It seems you have been called.Knock
em dead?"Nyx muses with a hum."Seems like it.Remeber to eat
something."Lithar answers while ruffling her hair, causing her to
let out a small squeak. He then left the room and made his way to
the dining hall.
Ginger jumped up. "Time for you to go! You've got this, just stay
calm and be yourself." Piper nodded and strode out of the door.
Walking down a few halls, she saw a pair of French doors open wide
and, stepping inside, found herself in the dining room. She stood
for a minute, unsure, then decided to greet the prince. Piper
walked up to him and waved. "Hello! I'm Piper, so nice to meet
you!" she chirped in a clear, sincere voice, some of her excitement
making her speak quickly.
"Crimson."
Crimson looked over at Amy. "What?"
"Time for you to go down to dinner." Amy replied, smiling.
Crimson sighed. "Alright.. Um... Can't you come with me?" She
asked.
Amy shook her head. "Sorry, but I can't."
Crimson nodded. "Okay.. Well, don't forget to get something to eat
yourself." Crimson said, walking to the door of the room.
"I won't. And... Try to enjoy yourself. This may not be as bad as
you think it is." Amy replied, waving at Crimson as she left the
room.
Crimson sighed, walking to the dining hall, and mumbling something
to herself.
Once she got there, she sat down further away from anyone else who
was there already, quietly staring at her hands.
Troye had fallen asleep again and Lise had barely noticed the
announcement while reading her book. Her eyes widened and she
immediately shoved Troye.
"Get up! You have to go!" She whisper yelled.
Troye groggily sat up. "Are you coming?" Troye asked. She shook her
head and he pouted. "But then it'll be no fun without you." He
said, getting up. She sighed.
"Just go. We'll talk later. And remember your manners." She said,
shoving him out the door and slamming it in his face. He chuckled
and walked to where he believed the dining room was. He quietly
entered the room and sat down a couple seats away from the prince,
pulling out his phone. He would rather introduce himself later.
Nikki turned around in her yellow strapless dress that almost
touched the ground. She gave a smile as she noticed that light
yellow lace was spread across the bottom of the dress.
Trixie gave Nikki a serious face. "It's time for you to go to
dinner." She said. Nikki made a nervous face. "What if I forget
something important? What if he doesn't like me? What-what if
he..." Nikki trailed off, fighting back tears. "You'll be fine.
Alright, hold on, I need to get you some shoes." Trixie said,
opening another compartment of the closet. She pulled out a pair of
light yellow flats and handed them to Nikki.
Nikki put the light yellow flats on and nodded. "Okay. I think I'm
ready. I don't like makeup, so you can't put any on me." She said.
Trixie nodded respectfully. "You're the master. Alright, so you can
head off now. You'll do fine. Just be yourself." Trixie said,
giving her a rare smile.
Nikki walked off towards the dining room, and opened the doors.
Should I introduce myself? I don't know. Oh god. She thought
nervously.
Evelyn stared at Gem. "I hate this dress. Find another silver one."
She said, changing out of the silver dress and throwing it at
Gem.
Gem couldn't catch the silver dress in time, and it hit her right
in the face. She tripped over a closet leg and fell onto the
ground. She could hear Evelyn's laughter as she got back up. She
carefully grabbed the dress and hung it up. She shifted through the
dresses and found another silver dress. This one was strapless, and
was all silver, except that it had white and light blue snowflakes
dotted across it. "H-How about this o-one?" Gem asked, looking at
Evelyn.
Evelyn quickly changed into the new dress and smiled. "Amazing.
Now, time for shoes and makeup. Maybe hair as well." She
ordered.
Gem shifted uneasily. "We might n-not have enough t-time." She
said. The glare she got from Evelyn was enough to shut Gem up. Gem
walked over to the closet and opened the shoe drawer. She carefully
grabbed a pair of light blue heels, and handed them to Evelyn.
Evelyn quickly put them on and stood up. She could walk in them
just fine. "I can do my makeup myself." Evelyn said, walking over
to the huge mirror in her room.
Evelyn began to do her makeup. Gem was looking around anxiously.
Lithar smiles at Oliver as he enters the dining hall."Lord
Oliver."He says politely in greeting before taking a seat.He
discreetly looks around before glancing back at the way he had came
from.He wouldn't ever admit it allowed but he was worried that Nyx
wouldn't eat like she said she would.
Troye sighed. He turned in his seat and observed all the other
competitors, jotting down tiny notes in his phone. It wasn't so
much for him as much as it was for Lise. He knew she would be
curious. I feel like such a stalker. Troye thought,
chuckling. He eventually stopped and got up. He stretched a but
before plopping down next to Lithar. "Hey there! How's it going?"
He asked.
"It's going fine. What do you think of this place? Pretty cool
right?" Troye said. His family's estate was pretty nice, but it
wasn't nearly as fancy as this. But this was the royal palace after
all.
Oliver looked up at Piper, and smiled. "Hello, Miss Piper.
It's a pleasure to meet you." He said kindly, smiling. He looked at
Lithar, nodding in greeting. Oliver slipped his book back under his
chair, and glanced between Troye and Lithar as they talked. He
smiled. He was glad they were getting along, it seemed.
"I'm Troye." He said, shaking Lithar's hand. He glanced over at the
prince and smiled before turning back to Lithar. "So what are you
looking to find here?" He asked.
"It sounds even better when you put it like that." Troye said,
chuckling. He put his elbow on the table and his chin on his hand.
"So what do you think of the Prince?" He asked.
"He seems interesting so far.Plus the stories did not do him
justice when they describe him.I wouldn't mind cuddling him and
possibly giving him a hug."Lithar states with a soft smile.
