Atriox roared as the nails dug deep into his back and drew rivulets
of blood. He dropped his hammer and tried to peal Kioiki off his
back. Solium halted his advance towards Cutter and Sliuril and ran
to assist him. Polous kept firing, trying to keep the humans still
until he got close enough to engage them in close quarters. Their
'cover' had literally started falling apart, it's metal body full
of holes.

Suddenly Canial out of the bushes nearby jumping on Solium to cover
up Kioiki and bites his hand. Kioiki jumps in the air and kicks
Atriox in the face landing on her feet.
(towards Cutter and Sliuril and ran to assist him. Polous kep)
(Ahem. There are no elves on this tale.)
Sylvie froze when she nearly got hit by one of the shards that had
punched clean through the car. She cursed. They needed a new cover.
Her pistol was almost out of bullets. Sylvie continued firing
anyways, trusting Cutter to hopefully have a plan.
"Damn it, back into the shopping complex! Up the stairs!" Cutter
shouted. He wondered what kind of reaction times these things had.
They weren't exactly the smartest mutants he'd ever seen. If all
went well, this would be the third time they had failed to kill
them. "On three." he said. Suddenly, another barrage of spikes.
"Three!" he shouted and made a break for the front doors.
Atriox succeeded in peeling Kioiki off his back and throwing her to
a side. "After them!" he shouted, seeing the humans running for the
front entrance of the large building.

Atriox growled as the wolf bit into his hand. This girl was
becoming a bit of a nuisance. He started trying to shake off the
wolf, but didn't stop making his way towards the shopping complex.
He didn't try to pry the doors open, he simply smashed straight
through them. He entered the building looking around. Pain was
shooting up and down his arm. He'd deal with that later. "Get my
hammer." Atriox growled to Solium, who obediently obeyed and ran
back outside to where Atriox had dropped it.

Atriox growled as the daggers sailed towards him. For such a large
creature, he moved very quickly to dodge them. Still, one bit into
his arm. 'Alright, that's it.' he thought and charged
towards Kioiki. It would be quicker, and a good deal less painful,
if he just dealt with her first. Anyway, Polous and Solium were
already inside the building... though recent events had proven them
less than useful.

Sylvia didn't look back as she dashed for the shopping center,
knowing that Kioki had the situation under control. She ran up the
elevators as she had been instructed.
Atriox roared and tore the wolf off his shoulder, his fur matted
with blood. He pointed his hammer at Kioiki and shards shot out the
end, speeding towards her.
Cutter took the dysfunctional escalators to the upper floors,
knowing that the elevators would almost certainly not be working.
He looked around searching for some escape route, or maybe a place
to hide. There was no way they were going to survive in a one on
one encounter with the monsters that were chasing them.

Sylvie glanced around, seeing nowhere to hide. The best idea she'd
got was the supermarket downstairs... she glanced down. Out of the
question, the mutants were already charging into the mall. Though
maybe, they could escape. "The fire escapes?" Sylvie whispered at
Cutter.
Cutter nodded. It was as good an idea as any. "Move." he whispered.
He kept his hand on his pistol, though he doubted that it would do
him much good. He could here the mutants searching for them
downstairs. They were drawing closer and closer. "Quickly." he
added, nodding towards the signs which pointed down a long and
rather exposed hallway.

Sylvie dashed for the hallway, running down it as quickly as she
could. She mentally cursed this particular mall, for having a long,
practically useless hallway. Couldn't it have been in blocks?
Sylvie noticed that some of the shops opened up from behind towards
another hallway. She gestured at Cutter to look, not breaking her
pace.
Canial howls inside the mall which echoes throughout the mall.
Kioiki attacks at his face and makes him temporarily blind giving
herself time to escape and then she ran towards the mall.
Cutter nodded. He ran towards the shops as fast as he could. By
now, he could hear the mutant behind him, on the same floor as
them. It could only be a matter of time before it chanced a look
down this particular hallway. After that, it would probably be game
over. He burst into one of the shops and, taking care not to crash
into anything, he ran for the the back of the shop.

Canial howls once again to make Cutter and Sylvie aware of her
presence then she realized she was being followed by kioiki and
they both followed the smell of Cutter and Sylvie.
