It saw the girl run. "I should have grabbed her at the chance I
had" Dave thought, as it was creeping behind Sylvie. It had
pretty decent camouflage, since he was boulders and all. As Sylvie
took her canned food out, the rock took it. "Thank you!" It says as
Dave eats the whole can. "Now get out of here or else I'll eat
you." It provoked.
Kioiki was thinking about the humans Cutter and Sylvie and that
boulder mutant. She was so lost in her thought she was walking here
and there not looking where she and accidentally entered the city.
(@The_Epic_Awesome, You are being really inconsistent. Technically,
you should still be fighting Atriox near the outskirts of the city
while Cutter and Sylvie have moved much deeper in and you are
nowhere near them. Don't let that happen again. But as you've
already posted, we'll have to go with it.)
Cutter took a step backwards and raised his pistol again. "Err...
let's go." Cutter said to Sylvie. "I'd rather not tick this ting
off." he kept his eyes on the boulder mutant. How was it even
possible for something like that to exist? Radiation really messed
with a lot of things. He blinked a few times, but stayed where he
was, waiting for Sylvie.

"Who the heck are you?" Cutter asked, looking at her. He was still
too close to the rock thing for comfort. "In fact, that can wait.
Sylvie, let's get outta here." he said.
Atriox was tempted to crush what was left of these buildings to
rubble. How had they managed to escape yet again. He thought.
Perhaps it was time to revert to, in his opinion, the most shameful
tactic : stealth. See what they were up against... before they
destroyed it.

(Did PH just turn your post into an emoji? rotfl)
"Yessir." Sylvie replied, following Cutter, and definitely getting
away from the rock mutant. He must've scaled down, since he now
fitted into the supermarket... somehow. She kept a hand on her
handgun though, just in case it decided to attack, and glanced at
Kioki, trying to tell her she was sort of sorry for not sticking up
for her. Sylvie decided she was too mice for her own good.
Polous and Solium were whispering to each other while Atriox
sniffed the air. The smell of the humans was very faint. He pointed
towards a large structure in the distance. He took out his hammer,
humming with energy and glowing red. Polous peeled left and Solium
to the right. Atriox took the most direct route. He had made it
clear not to attack unless he gave the signal.

"You should come with us." Sylvie offered automatically. Even if
she were a mutant, she did save their lives. "If Cutter allows it,
I mean." Sylvie hastened to add. The last thing she wanted to do
was to undermine Cutter's authority, the man screamed of it to her,
and she didn't want to get on his bad side. After all, what could a
single knife do against his guns? She quickly walked towards
outside, where it would (hopefully) be safer.
Cutter nodded. "You can tag along with us." He stepped outside the
shopping complex and turned around. It seemed to be clear. The most
immediate threat was behind them.
Atriox saw them and growled. There they were, right in the open.
And yet, Polous and Solium were still not in position. Honestly,
those two. He shook his head clear. He'd wait for the humans to get
closer. He gripped his hammer, anticipating the ambush.

"So, any idea where the big mutant went? Because I doubt anything
that big would give up game easily, since rockie's still alive."
Sylive whispered, eyes darting side to side. It was curious,
really. The two mutants hadn't been at it long enough to kill each
other. Mutants were tough and didn't die easily. The rock monster,
had only tussled with the other, armed, mutant briefly and still
lived. She doubted the rock mutant had caved in the large one's
head, plus there were the other mutants that had chased them.
Cutter nodded. "He's probably still out there. We're gonna have to
work under the assumption every mutant in the city knows where we
are. We should probably get out of the open." he looked around. Not
a lot screamed 'hide here' at him. "Come on. We need to find
somewhere safe." he kept his pistol drawn.
Atriox nodded as he saw Polous and Solium slide into position.
Soon. The humans had started moving. Very soon.

Sylvie nodded. It wasn't very reassuring, but at times like these,
being pessimistic was probably the best course of action anyways.
She mentally ran over the options. An empty building would probably
bury them. The rooftop, and they'd die from falling. She ran out of
ideas after that.
Atriox stood up and pointed the end of his hammer at the small
group and applied pressure on the hilt. Suddenly, hundreds of tiny
red shards flew down the street towards them. At the same time,
Solium and Polous howled and ran out the side alleys towards their
targets.
Cutter saw Atriox get up, saw fire the weapon. "Get down!" he
shouted and rolled to the side, behind an abandoned car.

Sylvie nearly slammed herself onto the concrete, rolling to the
side following Cutter. The car windows shattered, its seat torn
asunder by the red shards the didn't end up sticking out of the
car's metal casing. That was when she heard the howls. Two mutants
charged at them, the source of the howling. She only had one knife,
and a pistol. It seemed obvious what to do. She'd seen it done in
movies. Sylvie looked up and fired a bullet, giving herself a split
second to aim. The shot went wide.
"Damn it, keep firing!" Cutter shouted, shooting at what looked
like the largest of the group. It was also the closest one, and
didn't show any sign of stopping, even when several bullets pierced
it's skin. In fact, the projectiles only seemed to madden it
further. It roared and pulled out a weapon, which directed more
spikes, these ones glowing white, at them.

Sylvie kept firing, following Cutter's lead to shoot the largest of
the group. That was, until she saw that it was holding a gun, a gun
that shot glowing white spikes at them. She ducked, hoping the car
would be enough cover. If not, she would be dead soon.
Dave watched as the humans leave. Sadly, it couldn't do anything
about it, since he promised that he wouldn't eat them. It walked
away. Dave wanted to find a place he could rest, because humans
aren't the only ones who need stamina to run. It found a nice
little cave, which Dave now claimed to it's home. Dave plopped
down, and snoozed.
