So I like the idea of this diary and think I'll try it out :)

I've been on the site for a little over a week now. I feel like I'm learning fast, but slow at the same time. I haven't had a whole lot of help so I've been figuring out things at my own pace, which might be why it feels so slow. I immediately fell in love with the site, however. I bought a month's premium membership on my first night and still do not regret it ;)

I joined with about 2 days left to the Shaymin event this year. I managed to get a Shaymin egg my first night of joining and hatched it the next day. I didn't get to see it since, but I am thankful for even my single interaction with it!

I have a good sum of good items built up (Star Piece, boxes/keys, etc) but, as I'm still trying to figure out the importance and costs of everything on the market, I have not done much with my items and have been letting them idle for now. I'm sure in the short future I will begin to use or sell them though.

I've been playing around Emera Beach and Route 53 lately. I have yet to try the Safari Zone... Having just bought Amulet Coin, I'm hoping my income will go a little bit quicker through interactions, since I don't have the auctions/selling down quite yet.

Ok well I've been here for a little over a month now and have made quite a bit of progress. I still don't have a lot of money due to spending it on things needed to catch up in the game :P

Today is 2x's day so I've made a LOT of progress. I've gone up 2 (almost 3) levels in the last 24hrs (From level 23 to 25 currently, soon to be 26). I've hatched more eggs today than I probably have since I joined this game.

A little while back I hatched my first shiny which turned out to be a Retro Totodile.
A couple days ago I completed my first shiny hunt and achieved a female shiny Charizard.
