They finally reached Route 1. There was a bunch of grass, as expected.

Kella and her Pokémon were already searching for Pokémon. Suddenly, a Fletchling ambushed Pepper with it's Peck attack. The Fennekin gasped countered with her Ember attack.

"Thats a Fletchling, the Tiny Robin Pokemon. Its typings are Flying/Fire. It is extremely protective of its trritry, so be carefull!"

(fletchling doesn't get fire type until it evolves)

"Alright, Pepper, Ember once again!", Kella commanded. "FennnKIN!", the Fennekin shouted as it fired the bits of flame from it's mouth. The Fletchling fell on the ground and then charged straight at Pepper. "Dodge that!", the girl insisted. Pepper leaped into the air to avoid the attack.

(Two things)

(One, can we pretend Ask is still deciding in the lab?)

(Two, why are the Alola starters allowed if we know little to nothing about them? For all we know, Litten could learn Dark Pulse at Level Twelve.)
I mostly go on Smogon and Twitter nowadays.

Ask took...way too long to make his decision. 23 Pokemon he could choose from, and the desk had some amazing Pokemon, like Eevee, Cyndaquil, and Treecko... It was just impossible for him to pick. But, he eventually knew exactly what to pick. "Professor, I choose that one!"

Ask walked out of the lab a minute later with a Froakie on his shoulder.
I mostly go on Smogon and Twitter nowadays.

Kella was slightly annoyed by Luke just casually strolling into the battle and attempting to catch the Fletchling that she battled. However, she didn't say anything and just let the Pokéball shake until the Pokémon gave in. Bitsy growled at him but Pepper calmed the aggravated Eevee down.

Bitsy then started ranting something towards Luke, "Vuiii! Eevuiiivuiiii! Eeeev!" Pepper whimpered, "Fen fen..." "Bitsy, shush!", Kella commanded. The Eevee grumbled and slumped down besides the Fennekin.
