ok so I don't really know if this is a good idea or not, but I guess there is no harm in suggesting it, i think? xD
So, I think there should be like a type of meter for when you can get the black items.
It would kinda be like the Plushie Raffles that are in the Dream World Shop.
It can be limited.
For one that is waiting for 2 Black Keys, it is hard to pinpoint when I will be able to get these items.
ok there is my suggestion either if it is good or bad? I don't know but I guess I will wait to see :P

I don't really get your suggestion, care to elaborate?
You get the black boxes and keys by random chance as far as I know.
They are very rare to get from all recipes, with an increased chance when boiling mega-stone.

its like a meter to show the progress on getting a black box or key.

I don't know exactly what's going on (I don't use the cauldron a lot, because I'm almost always short on gems), but if it's random, it probably feels a lot better to know that you got lucky rather than "I did all these things, so now I know I'll be getting something!" I think it makes it feel kinda dull, and also how would that meter refill itself. From what I understand, you can get them any time. If one time is different than another, wouldn't that be hard for coding. It's not like I know a lot about coding, but that seems like it's a lot of work for something that a.) isn't necessary for many, and b.) would kinda take away the pleasure in knowing you were lucky enough to get the item.

Well, that's the thing. Like what ShinoTheShadowShinx had pointed out and I previously mentioned, Black Boxes and Keys are random items from the Gem Cauldron. You do not get them as if they are rewards for boiling but rather something like shiny hunting. It's true, shiny hunting is frustating but for some people, when they finally hatch the shiny out of the blue, was happy. If you were to take the element of suprise away from something, it's not fun.
