Maybe? I'm not entirely sure, but I got a notification that my gems were done brewing.

Now, instead of clicking the notification, I typed in the url (because I find that faster for me, and also does not create a new tab which would happen if I clicked the notification) and...I was brought to the gem cauldron page with the recipes and the like.

Confused, I checked my bag: I had only one of the item that I had been trying to brew (a Mega Stone).

Of course, usually when the Gem Cauldron is finished brewing something: there's the image of whatever it was brewed along with a "congrats" of sorts--so since that didn't happen, I was worried that my gems had gone down the drain like the last bug I reported.

I checked my bag a second time and there I had it, 2 Mega Stones.

This is the first time I've encountered this problem, so I'm not entirely sure if it's a bug (I usually type in the url name for places/whatever it is--so that's not the problem I'd think?). But it is an anomaly...

I think it's because you didn't click the link.
Clicking the link on the notification page might give a little "warning"/prompt to the Gem Cauldron-page that it should do a little extra; the congratulations message.

Sometimes, the place/link you're being redirected from does more than redirect (even if we can't see it), and I think this is what happened, and nothing went wrong, just slightly different ^^'
