This is a bug on royal tunnel which has encountered with me quiet a lot of times!
Generally it's normal but sometimes it's takes it's own sweet time which costs me.
It keeps on loading until the time ends and finally when the time is over i come to the normal 'Royal Tunnel' page without showing any message like time up or wrong question
I don't know if this takes place with you or not but happens quiet a lot times with me..and sometimes it gets fixed in 5-6 seconds although it happens rarely but costs me :/
If it can be fixed i'll be most happy :)
(And for some who will say it's net problem i'll say them a big NO because my net is extremely fast...)

It's not a bug, it's your net
If images take too long to load, you can try reloading the page manually :) It won't kick you out of the tunnel, and it gives the images a higher chance of loading completely.
If the problem lies with the click on the answer not registering, reloading still works; reload the page and click the answer again.


Depending on how your browser sets priorities, it might just decide that something heavy in another tab deserves the connection speed more than the Royal Tunnel. Despite what many think, it won't nicely divide among the active tabs; it'll give the most to the "most important" and give only the barest minimum to the other tabs, if there are other things demanding connection (like the Royal Tunnel).
At least, this is how it works for mine, and I never mess with Settings, so I'm pretty sure it works like this for a lot of others as well.

It doesn't show a time-out message, because the page finishes loading after the timer is done, so it (wrongly) thinks there doesn't need to be a message and simply shows the main page.


The only thing, site-wise, that could cause this, is high activity, which might ask too much from the server from time to time. It's still not a bug/glitch, and is a little closer to being "solved" with every upgrade to the server that Riako manages to do.

I have the problem with the loading but it always loads (so far) for me before time is up so I haven't experienced it to the point the countdown fully completes.

My net has nothing to do with it either on my end so likely it's either server traffic, as CatLady said, or a bug, I can't say for sure.

I experience a similar loading problem when I interact with people's eggs/pokemon from time to time. I'll click train/warm and the page won't move at all until a minute later. That usually only happens once in a row though, not twice in a row.

And not only that, sometimes pages just won't load and PokeHeroes just seems to freeze entirely for me but not for any longer than a minute.

Could be someone is doing something on the server and it just freezes for a moment maybe? Riako is the only one who can really say what's going on with these freezes.

Its happened to me too. Everytime on phone, tablet and laptop and I know my internet speed is fast.

I don't really get this.
Usually, my net averages 2MBps- which is just a little below average for the most part, and it loads almost instantly. Can't think of any other reason this would happen other than sitewide traffic.

@Cliff_Armor yes as i said it's nothing which happens frequently but sometimes yes and i am damn sure the net speed has nothing to do with it bcuz it's too fast the only possiblity is a bug which happens very few time and i'm not sure how many users actually face it but anyways according to CatLady if next time whenever it happens with me i'll reload the page and try again

It's not automatically a bug (so please stop saying it has to be one); it can also be caused by the site-wide traffic, as I've said before, because others' net speed doesn't decide whether or not the server can handle it, in which case we can only wait for the next server update.

And I've had this happen a few times as well, so I know reloading works.

@Catlady it took place with me again and i tried reloading the page it does'nt works you know why because whenever we click on the pokemon the page is trying to reload and at last i don''t even get any message of time expired or wrong question so i'll better call it a bug :/

If the server can't handle it, it's not a bug. There's no 'mistake' in the code, the server is just having a more difficult time processing it than usual, but that doesn't make it a bug (and I've already explained why it skips the message).


I've also told you to "reclick" your answer as reloading negates the first action (your first click). Did you re-submit your answer?

Its not a bug i guess. It doesn't happen for me. Maybe its the problem of the speed of your internet.

this has happend to me quite a few times now and its annoying. and you end up losing pd cause it might happen at the 5th or 6th time you answer.

refreshing doesnt work cause the page seems to be allready refreshing itself over and over again like in a loop. so even if i klick refresh it doesnt do anything. you can just wait it to finish. and end up in the royal tunnel page that doesnt say anything about the time running out or zubats.

klicking the right answer again doesnt work either. it just keeps refreshing allthough you might end up in the royal tunnel page (that doesnt tell you time run out or zubats chase you) a little faster.

i dont know what causes it but i'd hope someone could look into it,if it's something that can be fixed.

Just to be clear - it's not a matter of " Refresh or reclick", but of "refresh AND reclick" ^^' Only doing one of them doesn't do anything, I'm not gonna deny that, but it's not refreshing by itself over and over again; it doesn't finish loading [which is not the same thing]. I've had it happen a few times myself and refreshing, followed by reclicking actually gives results, so refreshing AND reclicking should do something ;)


What I think, especially with the sporadic appearance of the problem, is that it's probably not a bug, but either an internet connection issue, or the Tunnel is simply asking too much of the server.
As far as I know, these are things that can't be "fixed", per se, though if the server is having a hard time, every server update Riako does, brings us a step closer.
