Morta blushed very red, raising a hand to her cheek. "Oh, thank you...not many are so ready to compliment me so boldly.." she murmured, trying to hide her large grin. "W-Well, besides the poets and artists, but they're compliments aren't as nearly as sweet as yours." She cleared her throat, glancing at Nikola with a sight embarrassed smile. "Ah, if you wish, I can have a seat moved here, if you do not wish to stand."

"Oh, uh, yeah, that'd be nice, thanks." Nikola said, unsure how to speak to a god. Sure, she knew that celestial beings were meant to be feared and respected, but Nik wasn't really good at treating magical space people as anything other than normal people anyways. "So uh, do you have anytitles or anything that I need to list or something? I mean, not to be offensive or anything, but I have literally no idea how to converse with an all-powerful celestial being, y'know?" Nik was internally screaming. 'Sweet mother of monkey milk at this rate I'm going to get myself killed' She thought absentmindedly, though her face remained somewhat neutral, if not sheepish.

Morta clapped her hands together and murmured incoherently, and a few seconds later a wraith appeared, holding a ornately carved chair. "Thank you, Justine." She thanked the spirit, and it whispered back to her, though the language it spoke has long been dead to mortal ears. "That's all- You wish to know any of my titles, yes? Well, besides the God of Death, I am known as Lady Death, and I do not remember much else, in this language.." she murmured. "But, I would be most pleased if you could simply call me Morta. It is often not the best to see someone as simply their title or rank.." she continued.

Nik plopped herself down in the chair, her scaly tail curling absently around her ankles. "Alright, Morta, I'm Nikola. You kinda already know that 'cuz of my aunt but, anyways, nice to formally meet you then. Feel free to call me Nik." She said, moving to offer her hand in a handshake. "Oh, uh, watch out for the blades. They're kind of pointy and I keep forgetting to smooth them so it'd be a good idea not to rub against them or anything." She pointed out, tilting her arm awkwardly, swiveling the blade away from the goddess.

"Ha, never heard that one before," Ein said sarcastically to the Crobat girl while Akash laughed at the jokes. He gave Ein all of the time puns in the world and it was enjoyable to hear them coming from someone else.

"You're blushing," Akash smirked at Ein after mention of the wedding.

"I am and I hate it," Ein retorted. "But ah, I am very much looking forward to it, dear Elva." They gave her shoulders a gentle squeeze. "That is, if you accept it. If you do not wish to be my betrothed, that would be okay as well."

Akash looked over at Grimoire, "Hey you're not too shabby. Love the jokes." He grinned at her.

A look of surprise flickered across Elva's features. "O-oh, I'd be honored!" She assured. "I-I mean, many of my clanmates are betrothed with less interactions between them than us," She pointed out. This was fairly accurate, since many of the avian clans had performance based betrothel ceremonies instead of forming relationships based on mutual feelings. It was a completely different story for non-avian planned marriages, however, as outside clans' traditions often took priority over her own's. "You've been amazingly sweet so far as well, thank you." Ella said, her face flushing as she gave them a small peck on the cheek.

Ellenor stared down at the Zoroak and the dress. The sparkling gown was truly something to behold, but she wasn't exactly paying attention to that. Heat flashed across her face, and her pale skin lit up like a Christmas bauble. She fidgeted in her chair, practically unable to form sentences. "I- Uhh... Wow you're really- I mean... This is... Wow." She shook her head slightly. "Come on girl, pull yourself together! You've done this plenty of times before. It not like it's you first time seeing someone like that." Even with her mental scolding, she could tell this was different somehow. No one had had this extreme effect on her before, no matter how attractive! Having composed herself slightly, she stood up on her throne. "Th-Thank you so very much for these gifts. I couldn't ask for anything better. Because of this, I'm going to give you something special..." She held out her hand, a small red stone quickly forming in her palm. The stone flickered with light, like a tiny red star. She tossed the gem to the oldest man in the offering group. "I assume you know what that is, yes?" The grey haired Shiftry clutched the rock tight, nodding his head furiously. "Good. Use it wisely." She beckoned to the Zoroak, her face still a light pink. "Come, sit with me."

(Rip me)
Morta smiled as she took the other's hand. "No worries. My brother often pokes me with his antlers, because he can't seem to be bothered with taking proper care of them-" she laughed nervously, hoping she wasn't talking too much about herself. "Well, I suppose we should chat a bit about what we're going to do, for example, will you choose a room at the Temple? Or will you stay at your home, and make the occasional visit, or vise-versa?" She asked still keeping a hold on Nikola's hand.//

Grimoire puffed out her chest as she laughed. "'Not too shabby', eh? Looks like I'm gonna have to put a little more effort into my jokes then." She murmured, rocking back on her heels. "Not to ruin the moment here, but I really gotta mention that your birdie-bride just pecked you. Like, I'm sorry but I gotta pun at every possible moment." She chirped, smiling widely again. Truthfully, she was trying to stall for some time, before she'd have to talk to Akash. Just looking at him made her feel jittery and want to flee back home.

"Temple. Definitely the temple." Nik said almost immediately. "It won't take long to take the stuff I have to a new room, plus I'll be able to spend more time with you." She said. "Quick question though, does the temple have anywhere I can use as a workplace? If there isn't anywhere I can use as a workshop, I can just work in the provided room, but a workspace is necessary." Nikola noted, chewing the knuckle of her index finger. "Another question, when is the whole ceremony thing expected to end? Not to be rude, but it looks like majority of people have all been paired up and such." She pointed out.

Morta nodded, feeling a quick surge of elation at the news. "Well, I guess we'll have more time with each other, then." She murmured. "To answer your questions; there are hundreds of unused rooms, any of which you should have no problem turning into a workshop, after a bit of cleaning, of course. And the ceremony should officially end in about, a half hour or so, in order to tie up any loose ends. Usually it ends much sooner, but many gods have decided to not show up this year-" she muttered, glaring at one of the doors. "Though, if you truly wish, there isn't much to stop us from leaving now- I can just leave all the clean-up to my brother."

The gijinka nodded in agreement, obviously much more relaxed than she had been just minutes earlier, as if already familiar with Morta's presence. "Yeah, I'd rather not stay much longer. It'd be a good idea for me to just grab my stuff now and spend to rest of the time I would be spending sitting here looking pretty setting up my room instead. It'd also give me time to get used the layout of the temple, y'know?" Nik said with a grin.

Morta nodded. "True- the halls twist and turn this way and that way, and it can get rather confusing of you are unused to it." She explained, standing up. "Would you like some help gathering your things?" She asked, clasping her hands together in front of her. "I'll be glad to finally get away from all these mortals. No offense, but you all are quite unwelcoming to Death." She said dryly, smiling good-naturedly.

"Haha, no offence taken." Nikola laughed. "I totally get it. People tend to be kind of wary around me with these huge stabby extensions coming out of my arms. I usually wrap them up so nobody gets poked with them, but they do get in the way a of of the time." She stood up, brushing her skirt down with her right hand. "Shall we then?" She asked, offering a hand up in a sort of "manly bow" position, a silly grin on her face.

"Well then!" Ein exclaimed as they lightly touched their cheek where Elva had given them a kiss. "Let's get married!" They grabbed both of Elva's hands in theirs and gave her an elated smile. "I suppose we should start planning a wedding."

"Well I guess you could say it's about time," Akash said to his brother, who held back a dejected sigh and instead settled for a deadpan look aimed at Akash.

"Aha. I get it. Just like. The other hundred thousand times. You've used that joke on me."

"Oh please, you still love me, and know you've got twice the amount of jokes to sit through, don't you?" Akash hooked his arm around Grimoire and grinned. "Aw man, we're going to have such a great time I just know it."

Vis grinned playfully at Ellenor. Score! The glittering dress fluttered behind them as they practically skipped up to the throne of the Wish Goddess. "My Lady," they smiled at her sweetly as they tried to figure out whether to make themselves appear more masculine or feminine to appeal to Ellenor more, "I am truly honored." They bowed deeply to her.

Elva couldn't help but to smile, beaming at Ein's joyous smile, her gentle voice chiming as she stifled a happy laugh at Akash's joke. "Well, if we are to be wed, we would surely need some space for planning!" She chirped, her face cheery and much less reserved than she had been moments before. She smiled, feeling more relaxed and at ease than she had felt all night.

(Gasp! Elva is actually... A huge dork! Man, what a plot twist)
