Ateer walked over to the men and looked at them. He thought he might have reckognized them from somewhere, but he doubted they were overly important. "I have no idea. Maybe they had seen me with my wings out and waited for for me to be alone to try and catch me."

"Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Actually I don't think I'll be able to use them. It took a lot of work to get it to be tucked in. So now I'm just going to keep them tucked till they're healed."

Flare nodded a little and began walking. On the way she happened to notice something lying on the ground motionlessly, and looked over to see an injured Pidgey. She bent down and picked it up, feeling bad for it. "Poor thing..." She muttered, starting to walk faster towards Pewter City.
(Can I add to her team?)

Ateer finally made it to Pewter City and wound his way to the Pokemon Center. He found Flare waiting. "Hey, I had an idea on the way over here. The Pokemon Center would heal my wing a lot faster than if we just left it. I could change and you could pretend you found me injured. That way I won't be vulnerable if something happens."
