Fennekin darted after them, keeping hidden in the bushes. Flare was standing there, surprised and frustrated that her pokemon just left her like that.

Ateer's Braviary gave a loud caw when he noticed someone coming through the forest. Ateer looked up at his Braviary, "Someone's coming."

Flare felt a slight flash of fear of getting caught go through her mind, even though she looked like a human. She looked up. "They are? Where?"

Braviary took off and flew above the forest. It swooped over the person then returned to Ateer and Flare, and chirped. "They're not that far off, maybe a couple of hundred feet, luckily it looks like they're alone though."

Flare sighed. "Well if it looks threatening, then I have to find Fennekin." She said and started to run off in the direction Fennekin had left them.

Ateer sighed and tried to tuck his wings away to make himself a little less conspicuous. He was a pro tuck one away, but the sprained one still refused to move with out causing him pain. "Braviary, go with Flare and help her find Fennekin." His Braviary looked at him, worried. "I still have Arcanine, she can get me out of here if it comes down to that." Braviary nodded and took off, following Flare.

Ateer sent out his Arcanine and had her help him tuck his wing away. It caused quite a bit of pain, but they were able to finally get it down and disguised. Ateer climbed onto his Arcanine's back and they took off after Flare.

Flare ran through a large horde of thorny bushes, calling out for Fennekin. She came out with her arms and legs a bit scratched, but the slight sting that came from them was irrelevant to her. "Fennekin!" She yelled into the forest. The fox could barely hear her call and backed away from her hiding place, then dashed off, following Flare's voice. "Where is that fox?" She muttered, checking bushes and tree branches where her partner liked to hide a lot.

Braviary flew above the forest, looking for Flare's Fenniken. His sharp eyes had barely caught the small fox when he noticed two people attempting to surround his trainer. He shrieked and dive bombed one of the people, catching both off guard.

"Fennekin!" She called out again, searching everywhere for her pokemon that could be hiding anywhere. She looked back, seeing two people around Ateer, but before she could react, Fennekin shot out of a bush nearby and leaped onto one of the people angrily barking in his face, startling him.

Ateer's Arcanine stopped as she noticed two people had attempted to surround them, however Braviary and Fennekin had distracted them. She roared and sent a Flamethrower at the closest one, the one that Braviary had attacked. "Aurora, Arka, come on out." Ateer sent out his Jolteon and Vaporeon an they instantly sprang to help Fennekin. He jumped down from his Arcanine's back so she could maneuver better

"Fennekin, what are you--" Flare began, but bit her lip as it attacked the person. "Alright... use Ember!" She commanded, and Fennekin burned the man she was attacking. He tried to shake her off, but she managed to cling on, then jumped down, growling.

Ateer took that opportunity to direct his pokemon. "Aurora use Waterfall, then Arka, use Thunderbolt." They were able to knock that man unconscious then they leaped to help Arcanine and Braviary.

"Scratch!" Flare said, and Fennekin jumped up to scratch the man across the chest. She lashed out with claws a glowing paw and struck him, sending him staggering backwards.

Ateer was glad that his Pokemon were able to stop the men before they could ambush him and Arcanine.

Fennekin stopped and hopped down, then ran and jumped into Flare's arms. "What were you doing?!" She groaned. "Just.. being curious.." The fox snickered and climbed onto her shoulder. "What was that about?" Flare sighed, looking at the two men unconscious on the ground.
