What if they're close friends who allow themselves to cuss at each other?
I think it'd be fine as long as they keep in private.
Just press the 'Report' button on the PalPad if someone cusses at you and you don't like it.

Um.. Well... Swearing on this site... it's kinda acceptable. As long as you're not directing it to anyone, but just saying it as an expression.
Example in the spoiler below:

That above would be acceptable. I'm guessing other words are also allowed, but it's best to not say them because of the younger children playing the game. But my point is, it's not really against the rules.
Just a notice, the word I used in the spoiler box is not considered a 'swear' word in some countries, since it's used into everyday conversations - like, for me. I live in England, and that word isn't considered anything offensive haha since we use it literally every minute or second of our life :b

Like Dakar said, some people could be having some banter, and wouldn't mind using some swear words in their conversations. I don't know if this is the case for you, but if someone actually did call you something rude, which you find offensive, then just report it to the moderator. If it's in Pal Pad, just press the "Report" icon. If it's in PM or feeds, take a screenshot and send it to a moderator.

My response to this suggestion... Banning someone straight away for calling you something? Well, no. Sorry. I don't think I've met anyone on this site who has actually been banned straight away - even after doing things worse than offending someone.
There is a warning system, and those who break a rule are most likely to get a warning if they're reported.

Just report someone if they're upsetting you in some way. The moderators will deal with it, and the person will stop. If not, just report them again.
