This thread hasn't been really active but through my time today on the tunnel I found a...strange question.
Here

Both Wurmple and Weedle evolve at lvl 7. Only difference is Wurmple has two different evos, while Weedle not, but it's the same level. I clicked on Weedle just to try and it accepted it as the valid answer. Soo...? Not much sense.

I think that the reason it was Weedle is because Wurmple evolves at level 7 if it has a certain personality value to become one of its evolutions, or into the other otherwise. I think that that counts as a prerequisite like having a hold item even though any personality value will result in it evolving. ^^'

I guess so o: if not, it w ouldn't have sense at all xD
Like when you have to pick that piloswine evolves at lvl 50 and aipom at 32, when it's not like that from what I know.
