Forum-Index → General Discussion → PetsNo it's not her tail. It's my foot XD She lays like this right now right behind my laptop screen. (The laptop is this grey thing at the bottom)
Her name is Sydney and she's 5 years old. She's really smart, trying to get fed from everyone in the household pretending she's hungry as hell. And she likes to talk, meowing through the house if she wants to be let out or discusses with you.
the dogs are named koga and adelle, the turtles are technically my brothers, and the rabbit is named ayame but no one calls her that. shes bunny. thats it.
Pumpkin got her name because we started feeding the mother cat about 2 years before her birth (her owners are terrible and we still feed her to this day) She had her first litter outside somewhere where we presumed they'd all passed. About 6 months later in the early hours of Halloween 2012, she gave birth to a litter of 4. 2 unfortunately were stillborn, 1 died about half an hour after birth and Pumpkin (who was first out) was the one who survived.
Blurry photos but. First photo is Pumpkin aged 2 days, second photo is 3 weeks and the last one is what she looks like now.
aaand this is Gandalf. No idea how old she was when we got her from the reptile store, but at a guess I'd say she's around 2 years old.
She likes to be fed and treated liked a queen, she is very lazy and sometimes temperamental. but playful and lovely if you get to meet her <3 She LOVES food and naps

She also had a kitty. and he is currently 4 months old (in cat years). He is a male
He is kinda... well, he doesn't likes when people carry him and he is really playful. and tries to act bold. he LOVES food, toys and playing with others

And here's my loved turtle: Rhubarb, or as I like to call: Turt. I adopted it in a pet shop and it has been with me 5 months, it's so young and tiny I still don't know its gender yet
Rhubarb hates when people (or big creatures) touch or carry it. it likes the company of other turtles, tho. Rhubarb is kinda smart, it knows what means when people point at something. Rhubarb loves dried shrimps, Turtle sticks (food for turtles), and classic or calm music.

I love my turtle <3 but I also love my cats :3

Don't starve >:3
(Large Images, sorry)
She was my grandpa's dog, but unfortunately he got sick in August and passed away last month and my grandma can't take care of Mattie like go for long walks and run around because she has a bad heart which is why I'll be getting her pretty soon.
She's the cutest. She likes to do this thing where when you're eating, she'll sit on one side of you and look away like she's not paying attention until you give her food and then she'll sit on the other side of you and do the same thing. Also, if you're eating plain potato chips and offer one to her, she'll sniff it and won't eat it but if you put something like French Onion Dip on the chip, she'll eat it.
i love drampa so much
ohh, all your pets are so cute!! <3
as for myself, I have four cats (one tabby, two maine coon mixes, and one tortoiseshell), a rat, a teddy bear hamster, and a red eared slider turtle!! hopefully, if things will go as planned, we will have another ratty joining us soon!!
they're all my precious babies. ;v;
i may edit in pictures later. uvu
I have 2 horses, 1 dog, 2 rats.
Thunder
This is my mustang gelding. He is 13 this year and likes to be my shadow. He's a bit of a brat, he was a pasture pet for the first 11 years of his life. So he's rather pushy when he's not trailing along right behind my shoulder or searching my pockets for treats.
Mercy
The frisky filly running by Thunder is my breeding stock paint, she's going to be two this year. She's a real sweetheart, very calm and willing, but still a bit clueless at times. I've been doing a lot of groundwork training with her, getting her used to human shenanigans and necessary behaviors to have to be a good mount, and even taking her along on trail rides to get used to new places.
'My filly!'
Sage
This bundle of energy on springs is my Kelpie/Aussie Shepherd cross who will be turning three this year. She's ridiculously smart, and has applied her herding/protecting instincts into my rats, guarding them from my mom's dachies. She's also a lover, saying everyone and everything is her friend until proven otherwise.
Pepper and Nutmeg
These two cuties are my rattie girls. Pepper is on the left, she's a black variegated hooded dumbo. Nutmeg is on the right, she is a mink self standard. They love getting out and exploring, and are coming around to cuddles. Nutmeg used to be super timid and standoffish, but she was solo rat for a couple weeks and turned to me for socialization so she likes getting petted and picked up, but only for so long. Pepper was rescued from being a feeder, and was similarly timid and wary. But a month of tasty meds and regular contact has turned her around.
Cookie was my first (calico, 3 years F)
Black Jack was meant to be her companion when we moved (solid black, 3 years M)
Bibs was a foster fail, she was semi feral and I couldn't find her another way out of the shelter (where I work). (black and white, 1 1/2 years F) Bibs has glued herself to my side and trusts only me. She hurt herself a week ago today, poor girl. I've had to medicate and keep her confined all week, with another week to go. It's hard on both of us.
and Layla, a 7 year old rat terrier mix.
I couldn't live without them.
