"I apologize I could not come sooner, Flavia." Chrom was at Ferox castle, Talking to Flavia. "What matters is you are here, Chrom."
"Is it true Valmese warships have set sail? What can you tell us?"
"Not much more than that, I'm afraid. The details remain hazy. Just a moment... Oaf! ...Where are you, you big, bald—Chrom is here!" Basilio walked in from a side door. "Ah! Well met, boy. I knew you'd come. We have someone you should hear from. I believe you've met? He claims to have insight into Valm's intentions." Virison, A Sheppard, and someone Chrom and Colin Didn't know came in. "Good day, lords and ladies. How far you all? Allow me the great pleasure, and indeed honor, of introducing myself..." Chrom interrupted him "We all know who you are, Virion. Although I don't believe we've met your companion?"
"Hmph! You know nothing! Prepare for my great unmasking! Long have I posed as archest of archers! Yet that was but a ruse! Yea, an artifice, to disguise myself as a mere above-average man. In truth, I am-"
"Ahem, May I present Duke Virion. I am his humble servant, Cherche. Greetings, sire. You honor us with your presence." Virion's Companion explained. "Cherche! You stole my moment!" Virion scolded. Chrom started speaking, "A pleasure, Cherche. Perhaps you could speak on your master's behalf?"
"That may speed things along, yes... "
"Then please. Time is of the essence."
"Very well, then. First, concerning our origins... We hail from Rosanne, a fertile territory on the continent of Valm. Milord is the head of House Virion, and the rightful ruler of Rosanne. A fact he often reminds us of—and loudly."
"Ha! Is she not a true wit? She gets it all from me, you know." Virion interrupted.
"So what brings a noble and his charge all the way across the long sea?" Chrom asked.
The Valmese. Theirs was an unremarkable nation once. Tiny, almost pitifully so. Had our continent not shared its name, you might almost have forgotten it existed. And so Valm might have remained, if not for Walhart the Conqueror. One by one, he has taken the surrounding realms into his growing empire. I had no choice but to ru... Er, that is, to RECRUIT new allies to aid my people. That's why I've come." Virion Responded.
"...You fled for your life." Chrom concluded.
"More or less, yes. While milord hastily gathered his valuables and guided his people to safety... I alone remained to keep an eye on the Valmese crisis. I was there as Rosanne was swallowed up by Emperor Walhart's overwhelming forces. In the end, I, too, fled here to Regna Ferox seeking asylum." Cherche said.
"To my great relief, I might add! Eligible women are one of Rosanne's most precious natural resources!" Virion Declared.
"Ahem! As I was saying... So, begging your pardons, but perhaps it is time to cut this long story short: Walhart has conquered our continent and now seeks to conquer yours."
"She claims the Valmese fleet will be at our shores in a matter of days. We'll know soon enough if her story proves true." Basilio explained.
"I speak only what I know for true, good people. As does my lord. ...At least, with respect to this matter." Cherche said.
"There's that wit of yours again! Aha! That wonderful...needling, chafing wit." Virion said, Sounding awkward.
"I believe you both. Basilio, we must secure your ports as soon as possible." Chrom came out and said.
"You should know that Valm has the strongest cavalry in the world. You will want to station troops with experience fighting mounted troops." Virion added.
Colin finally said something. "I'll keep that in mind."

~Two Hours Later~
Everyone was in the mess hall, eating. Forge was standing in a corner. He grinned. It was great to see all the soldiers chatting on the verge of battle. "Believe you can do it," He muttered "and you are already halfway there." No one seemed to be looking for Forge, so he slipped out. He walked through the darkened hallways and went out. Once outside, he stretched. He sprained his right arm. "S@!T" He swore. "Why doesn't this heal?" He looked at the horizon and beyond that, to the sea. The sun was setting, casting long shadows over the land. One shadow caught his attention. It was moving. Forge unsheathed his sword and glided stealthily to it. He was shocked by what he saw. It was a tall, well built but swift looking, humanoid figure, but with a dog's muzzle. It had the resemblance of a black mask around it's red eyes. Spikes sprouted from it's hands and chest. The chest itself was made of yellow fur resembling a vest. Approach, human. Forge heard a deep voice in his head. The creature looked towards him. I am Hunter, a Lucario. What you would call a Pokemon. I have come looking for someone to share my loyalty with. Someone to treat me as an equal, not a pet. I see that you are noble, true of heart, wise, brave. I hereby allege my loyalty to you. The Lucario sank to one knee. Forge was taken aback. "True of heart? Wise?" Then he realized that the Lucario was still bowing. "Err... no need to bow, Hunter." he said. The Lucario rose to it's feet. Now, I have traveled for five days without food or sleep. I would greatly appreciate something to eat and somewhere safe to rest. Hunter thought. "Err... follow me." said Forge, heading back to the castle.

~Meanwhile~
"I've completed my patrol of the encampment, milord. All appears to be in order. I found no sign of the enemy nearby. I believe we are safe here for the night." Fredrick stated.
"Good to hear. Thank you, Frederick." Chrom replied.
"While on my rounds, I took it upon myself to inspect our weaponry as well. I've placed any items that showed exceptional wear outside your quarters. Be your choice to sell or repair them, sire, I recommend swift action."
"...Oh. Well, you HAVE been busy... Your work ethic always impresses, Frederick. I almost feel lazy by comparison."
"No trouble at all, milord. Happy to help. ...Also, with the nights growing colder, I procured blankets from a nearby village. I've readied a variety of colors so you might pick that which best suits you. If I may be so bold, sire, peach would seem to best flatter your complexion. But perhaps blue. Just to be safe? Yes, that's best. Blue it is! Here you are, milord. And two sets of spares, just in case."
"Frederick, do you never tire?"
"Of course not, milord. I am here to serve. Ah, and one final thing: I've taken measures to raise troop numbers and morale. I had an artisan create posters emblazoned with your noble image. It's milord in a bold pose— Striped of clothes, save a scale in one hand and a sword in the other. And at your feet, I scrawled our new recruiting motto: "Chrom Wants You!" I had them pinned inside each and every Room. Surely the troops will be thrilled to rally behind their common leader, milord."
" ...Wait. You did what?! In whose... You hung this pict... In EVERYONE'S room?!"
"No need for thanks, milord. Merely doing my duty. And that concludes my report. Rest well, sire!"
Fredrick walked away.
"F-Frederick! Wait! We really need to...talk. ...Oh, gods. I've got to tear those posters down before anyone sees them!"
(Fredrick and Chrom Reached support level C)

Colin got up early. He couldn't sleep, due to the 'Chrom Incident' yesterday. He tried to sneak out of bed and get in one of his cookware outfits, but Cordelia woke when he was looking for his apron. "Where are you going at this hour?" She asked, sounding either worried or angry, he couldn't tell. "Oh, nowhere" He found his apron, then snuck out of the room. "I'm pretty sure nowhere is somewhere." She got out of bed and put on her armor, then slipped out the hall. She searched almost half of the castle. "Where is he..." She wondered. "Thats not how to do it! You almost burnt it!" She heard, from down the hall. "Well, I haven't done this before!" She crept down the hall towards the door the sounds were coming from. "There! Your done." "Thanks." She was about to open the door when it opened in her in the face. "WOAH!" "AAAAH!" Donnel opened his room's door down the hall and stepped out. *SPLAT* "What in tarnation?!"
"Colin!?" "Cordelia!?" They both stared at each other. "Um' Guys?" They then turned they attention down the hall. "Why'm I covered in pie?" Donnel asked. Colin turned to Cordelia. "I snuck away because I wanted to make you a pie." Cordelia felt relived. "OK, then. Who was in the kitchen with you." She asked. "It was-" "Colin did you give Cordelia the pie?" Sumia opened the door and walked out. "No... There was an accident." He pointed to Cordelia, then to Donnel. But then he realized something, why was Donnel wearing a tux? He usually only wears his Farmer clothes, or his armor.
Sumia slipped Colin a cloth from behind their backs. "I'm sorry Donnel." He handed him the towel. "It's alright'." Donnel wiped the Pie filling off of his face. "Sumia? Colin?" Chrom ran down the hall. "I have over a hundred questions." He said. "What are you all doing up at this hour." He looked at Donnel. "Why is Donnel covered in Bloo-" "Pie fillin'." Donnel interrupted. "Ok, Why is Donnel covered in pie filling?"
Colin and Sumia explained to Chrom, Cordelia and Donnel what happened. "Oh, I'm sorry I wreaked your pie... I'm sure it was delicious" Cordelia apologized. "It's alright. I made two!" Sumia passed Colin another pie, which he passed to Cordelia. "Thank you!" Cordelia said. "I'm gonna g-" "Donny?" Lissa walked out of Donnel's room. "LISSA!" Chrom yelled. "WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING IN DONNEL'S ROOM!!!" "Its' not like that at all'!" Donnel protested. Chrom drew his sword to Donnels neck. "L-l-le'mme explain'!" He put his sword back into his scabbard. "Fine. Explain." "Well' Me an' Lissa came' back from a real romantic meal." He explained. "We're saying goodbye' when she feel asleep in my arms', and I brought 'er into my room and put 'er on my bed, an' I feel asleep on a' chair." "Oh, I'm sorry Donnel." Chrom apologized. "Its' alright. Yer' just protecten' ya sister." Donnel replied. "Y-y-you did that all for me?" Lissa asked. "Sure' did." He said. Then Lissa jumped at Donnel and kissed him. "Ok... Let's go eat pie." Cordelia whispered to Colin. "Yeah lets." He wispered back. Then they both walked away.
