So, since I'm going to get into all the combee honey hype, I decided to make a suggestion.
I tend the leave the computer (ADHD, or whatever.), and sometime even for long periods of time. Periods of time when, well, Pokémon steal my honey. And so I came up with this-
If you have to go, you can get up a guard for a maximum of 6 or 12 hours (not for me to decide), and it will have a chance to keep your honey safe. And, I also thought there could only be a select few Pokémon the guard it, but that's just me. My idea list for that are below.
Show hidden content

Poochyena, Eevee, Riolu, Lillipup, Vulpix(Lowest chance to keep honey safe)
Growlithe, Eeveelutions, Houndour, (Second lowest chance)
Zorua, Absol, Elecktrike, Herdier, Snubbull(Third lowest chance)
Granbull, Ninetales, Mightyena, Manetric, Lucario, Zoroark, Stoutland, Arcanine, Houndoom (Fourth lowest chance)
Suicune, Raikou, Entei (May not obey [may not go into honey tree guard slot], maximum chance.)

Feel free to change anything, and sorry if this was hard to read. Thanks~
NEW ADDITON:
Combee might be able to guard the tree.
You might be able to remove the guard when you pay a fee.
Bisharp and Pawniard might be able to guard.
You might have to pay a small fee to enable you to get a special item so you can send a pokemon of yours to guard. Like the odd incense, it is not a one-time fee. (Ex. Honey Guard badge, fence...)
Possibly only for Super Honey

Oh this is such a cute idea o:
I'd love this, especially for Super Honey, since I can't go to sleep without a Pokemon eating it when I wake up orz

maybe some of the grass types have a negative guard rating but lure them in quicker

Support but then there would be a big struggle to get those pokemon like there was when combee and miltank came out, so I think you would have to pay for a honey guard maybe like, 10,000 or maybe thats too high or low but I think you should PAY for a honey guard. Also, maybe a pokemon could always hang out at your tree and when you click on it, you could give items to it and the better the items were, the longer it would stay as a guard. I think this is a great idea any way it is done.

Honestly I don't think you should have to pay, and it should almost be played out like rumble missions. But maybe.
And Combee might be able to guard as well xD As well as Birsharp and Pawniard.

I think when you get the guard you put him to protect the tree and you can remove him from the tree when you want.

I think a wall of combee would be logical because are honey...combees love honey

Back on topic, This is a great idea. Maybe any pokemon can do it but only if they hold a certain item that you can get?

I got a ideia. the guard will be attracted by some special honey and the message will appear in green:

"Look! A Strong Pokemon is eating your Special Honey! he will protect the tree until you scare it away"

and down will have the option

"Scare Away"

or just

"Remove" or "Say to go away"

The idea I had is that you could command your OWN pokemon to guard, so I don't think that's really nessicary.

I support, but what if it a Shiny ? I would prefer a "trap" that traps and holds the Pokemon. You can buy them at the Item Shop and upgrade them or something :3
