Drop-down bar for party page
Forum-Index → Suggestions → Implemented → Drop-down bar for party pageBut. You know. You actually can organize, even on mobile - to some degree, that is. You can't drag and drop stuff around in your party, that's true, but you can sort of use the storage boxes to your advantage here. (Didn't know about this until fairly recently either, I kinda stumbled upon this/realized this was possible by accident. :'D)
Anyways. Um.
You can set an order by selecting your Pokémon accordingly. Just pick the Pokémon from your boxes in the order you want them to appear in your party.
Like, the Pokémon that should go in the first slot, you tick its box first. Then pick the one you want to go in the second slot. Next is the Pokémon that goes in 3rd place, and so on.
The system also remembers the slot in which a Pokémon was before your storing it and replacing it with another Pokémon/egg afterwards. So, for example, if you have a full party but put the 3rd one in a box and then proceed to pick a(ny) Pokémon to be placed in your party instead, it'll go in slot #3. Also works when adopting eggs. Same scenario as before but with adopting an egg: the egg goes in slot #3 too.
However, keep in mind that if you remove two or more Pokémon from your party - let's say #2, #4 and #5 - the system will always fill the first available slot (#2 in this case), then goes on to the next one (slot #4), etc.
(So, if you wanted to have a pattern like [Pokémon #1 - egg - Pokémon #2 - egg - Pokémon #3 - egg], just fill your party like this [Pokémon #1 - random Pokémon - Pokémon #2 - random Pokémon - Pokémon #3 - random Pokémon] and then store away the random Pokémon. If you now adopt eggs, they'll take the random Pokémon's slots.)
Of course, the whole procedure is a little inconvenient and being able to arrange your Pokémon directly thorugh the Party page would be easier and everything, but for now - it's definitely possible. :>
