Since the fanmade section is getting overrun with these threads, and it seems like nobody is going to stop them, I'd like to suggest a sub forum to be added for them so that those looking for actual fan art or other fan threads don't have to go past so many of them.

Most of them are in Fanart, but there are a few floating about the Fanmade section, which is why I offer this suggestion.

Bump.

I really want to see this done, since it's not strictly fanart, nor is it something that should be allowed to flood out other fanmade threads, so a subforum for this would be really nice.

That way people who want to ask others questions can find those ask threads easily, and those who want actual artwork can find it as well. And the reason I don't consider the ask threads as actual artwork is because most of the time it's sketches or just quickly done lines in reply to a flood of questions. Thus they have a much higher "bump" rate than the other art threads. (Even an active art thread will have an image every few hours for the most frequent, not several posts within an hour from the OP posting quickly done works.)

I just looked at the fanmade forum (since I don't hang there much) and I support this.
Actually, I don't see any point in these asking threads. But if they're gonna stick around we need a subforum for them.

Support, mainly from what has been said. It's kind of annoying looking through fanart (I usually stalk that side) and seeing many ask threads. I don't really mind if people keep doing them, but if so, they should have a separated section, or they could even be done in people's journals. It's as simple as making a post on your journal with what would be the first post and ask there people to ask the questions, or through PM, to be replied in the same journal. But since I think no one would even do this, it should have a separated section.
I mean, I look for fanart/shops, not ask threads :b

Erm, there's a whole subforum for fanart, specifically, and that subforum is now cluttered with the ask threads, hence the suggestion.

Ask Rei'sen
Ask Mya and Zoe!
Ask Chip
Ask Stitches
Ask Pixil ~ Open
Ask my Pokesona!
Ask Malice, the Banette!
Ask Emolga
Ask Arbok
Ask Link the electrokinetic servine questions!
Ask Pixil. (Locked by Riako)

I think that these are more than enough examples of what I'm talking about, lol. I didn't dig them up when I posted the thread, since.... Well, look at the sheer number of them, and that's not all of them >.<

All I needed was 3 examples or 2 o.O

but thank you! This really does need to be done now that I can see the problem! And I just saw another one a couple minutes ago (which you showed lol), so I understand the frequency of these threads :)
support, these threads need to be somewhere, and this subforum is great! ;)

Support. These threads are seriously annoying and multiply quickly.
