The fact that Rock had spoken completely went through his head, since everyone he had ever spoken to spoke back to him otherwise. "Alright, to the mountains it is." Not too bad of an idea to search in the mountains, since a good village up there is nonexistent and there are only really dungeons there. Either way, he was fine. But there was one problem.

Unfortunately, when the two of them had reached the assembly, everyone was gone. They had already left to find their new guardian. With all of the anger filling up in his body, Duo slammed one of his front legs into the ground, angry that he could have let that happen. If he had been quicker...

"Wait a minute." He had an idea. "Kid, why don't you and I form a search party of our own? We can take in any lost travelers instead of people from the town. That way, not only will we get to accomplish my dream, but we can also save others and help our village grow!"

Duo eventually got home, and in a rush, began to pack his bag. He forgot quite a few things, but got most of the basics, like food, water, and a tent, so he was fine. He put the bag in between two of his metal spikes and began to nervously dash back towards the assembly hall, hoping that his slow body could make it in time.

	Duo thought about it for a second, thinking this 'mon could attack his region again, but then ultimately decided to dive in to save Draco despite knowing his back was heavy and it would be a chore to get back up. 	It took a good amount of time, but Duo stopped when he got to a certain tree in the forest. He began using Fury Cutter on it repeatedly until it eventually just seemed hopeless for him, so he decided to use string shot to create a sort of trampoline between two trees, potentially stopping Rock from continuing through. (Why do you need their sister? And Pokemon Mystery Dungeon mechanics only really change how some moves work and change it so it's more all-against-one rather than one-on-one until your opponent lost their 6 mons.)
