Naru slid out of his chair, standing. It was like the crack of a whip and ten sharp strands suddenly seemed to enter Samhain’s torso, before the man’s eyes will have blanked out. The strands had come from the marks on his fingers, but the moment they entered Samhain’s body they were no longer visible.

The moment the strands were gone the little boy fell to the ground, looking frail. He was breathing, albeit shallowly, but he had succeeded. He now had control of Samhain’s body.

A smaller male figure entered the tattoo parlor, his sharp eyes almost predatory. He looked rather young, perhaps early highschool age.

Ayukka was still sitting alone, head in her hands as she grumbled with stress. She was overthinking again, right?
She couldn’t tell if she was embarrassed or angry, so she decided she was both. Her temper began to boil over as she leaned back in her chair, and a scream ripped itself out of her lungs. She watched the ceiling tiles crack, but not shatter above her.
