Ratholas looked at Fang, sighing. “But what about the other humans? I am worried about them going after us. After hearing of Zeek, I am terrified these two humans will not be able to convince a group of them to trust us. Even when we trust them... I am just scared for us.”

Ratholas looked down, he wanted the deaths to stop as well but the pain was new again.”Do you believe that this connection with the humans shall stop any wars to come? I am just worried they’re tricking Sapphire and I. I am really worried.” He said quietly.

Kovu nodded towards Rose as there was nothing else they could do.”Well I am here for you.” He whispered seeing the village. “And remember your mother can’t stop the connection you have.” He smiled.

Stryke was so worried over the whole situation that he was putting his worries in dealing with the weapons. He was ever so angry at his wife for saying what she had, not even knowing how he was going to deal with her.

Roda was waiting for her two men to return with Rose or news of where Rose went. She felt the marriage had to happen quick now to put Stryke and Rose in their place.

Kovu climbed down from Draig, both behind Rose and alongside Sapphire. Kovu decided e was going to be near Rose in case something happened and ran up to her.”I am worried what they’re going to do.” He said quietly. “You are bringing dragons!” He whispered.

Ratholas looked back at Fang, folding up his wings. “I should not have had a bond with a human. They took our families, how are we to trust them?”

Ratholas went to his cave, he was furious over the whole issue with the human. He didn't want to bond with a human nor did he want to be around the humans. He felt all of this was a joke and they were walking into a trap.

Draig followed right after Sapphire and Rose, making sure Kuvo desn't fall off. He actually didn't care too much whether or not the human stayed on him as he didn't like the fact they didn't bond. He felt Ratholas didn't deserve to be connected like Sapphire was.

Kovu was worried about the weapons that were not sabotaged with and hoped that no one would attack them. He also was mad at Roda and feels like Hunter was the one to kill a dragon, almost to spite them. He really didn't get the hint and figured it was Hunter, not is father.

Draig went over to Fang and carefully took Kovu, before setting him no his back. ''I have no problem with that.'' He spoke quietly, while Kovu now held tight to this dragon.

Kovu nodded as he was tight against Draig, holding onto his scales along with his neck. ''Um...I don't think you can win there...I think she will believe we're insane!" He laughed a little before nodding. ''She cannot deny the peace between the dragons now and she will not be able to marry you off like she wants.''

Draig was furious when Ratholas bonded with Kovu. ''You look at you, now you have a human that you bonded with. Clearly he doesn't want to harm any of us.'' He lightly growled trying to keep down his anger.

Ratholas was still shocked from the actual shock and knowing he had bonded with this human. ''I should not have allowed him to try.'' He turned away and began off back to the caves like he was severely hurt over this.

Kovu was excited after the shock as he bonded with a dragon and they knew he was on their side. He smiled towards Rose and laughed a little. ''I guess we fit each other, because I didn't trust dragons in the beginning either.'' He looked at Ratholas, though frowned when he began away.

Ratholas looked at Sapphire then at Fang with almost disgust for shoving a human at him. He shook his head as his trust had died long time ago with the humans.

Kovu thought Fang was going to drop him because he didn't bond to him. He screamed a little bit as this was rather scary to be up that high and now in the claws of a dragon. ''I beg you, I really am on your side.'' He said to Fang as he didn't know what Sapphire had said. He reached out towards Ratholas when they got close to the other dragon. They bonded as Ratholas was slightly pushed back by the shock as Kovu was thrust into Fang's chest by the shock.

Kovu frowned when Fang as well didn't appear to be the dragon that he should have bonded with. He felt ashamed as he didn't wish harm for the dragons at all, which scared him that they would think that. ''I promise I do not want harm, I really do promise! I want friendship beyond anything with the dragons.'' He said quietly, looking down, feeling down.

Ratholas shook his head. ''You see that.'' He looked at Draig and Fang. ''If they did not wish harm, then either of you would have bonded with him.''

Draig had nodded to Sapphire, feeling furious at why he didn't bond with Kovu.

Ratholas shook his head, he wasn't going to attempt to bond with Kovu even if Draig or Fang didn't. He wasn't willingly to try after knowing that Zeek was murdered by a human the same day they're trying for peace. He didn't believe that it was the truth and didn't trust the humans at all. ''He would not want to bond with me. I wish harm to the humans over the pain they have caused us and the lives they took.'' He said nearly under his breath, but he was angry at them.

Kovu nodded to Rose before he reached out and touched Draig. He was waiting for the shock or what he had seen with Rose, his eyes closed as he was bracing. Nothing happened between them causing Draig to almost panic. ''Maybe it takes time. If it doesn't work for you or I, Fang, we should try again a different time.''

Draig went towards Sapphire, believing that if he was able to gain the bond with the human male, then it would be a sign that him and Sapphire were meant to be together. ''I will see if I can gain the bond to help stop this war.'' He lowered his head towards Kovu.

Kovu looked at Draig confused at what he was trying to do then towards Rose with a nod. ''The man that killed your friend, doesn't deserve to be in the village. He could only cause problems with you dragons and we wouldn't want such a horrible man still alive around dragons...Oh! Rose is also the Tribe Leader's daughter so the next in line to be the Tribe Leader.''

Ratholas wasn't listening to Sapphire, he believed that humans and dragons should never be together. He narrowed his eyes at the humans, shaking his head to think that Sapphire's judgement was clouded.

Kovu smiled towards Rose, nodding as he looked at the dragons. They were breaking ground and may finally be able to change the war that had been going on forever.

Draig looked at Fang before glaring at Ratholas. ''Exactly. If that human has a bond with Sapphire, then they mean no harm.''

Ratholas was not convinced as he looked over the humans. “Sapphire.” He said sternly. “Trusting these humans so soon after Zeek’s death is merely a betrayal upon his deathbed. They may have no weapons, but that doesn’t mean they don’t want harm. Humans and dragons are not meant to mix and it would be safe to rid of those on your back now. They’re corrupting you.”

Draig narrowed his eyes at Ratholas.”The leader has the choice! If she feels they’re willing to be on our side then they are!”

The man kept a glare before he left, smashing two tables and old bottles as he went out the door.

Kovu smiled a bit at Rose now for her answer was the truth as well. He then opened his eyes hearing the beats of the other dragon's wings and nearly passed out to see a bunch of them. ''Oh my goodness.'' He lost his breath for a few moments before nodding. ''Bonds, Rose, you have a bond.''

Draig was watching the humans before he looked at Sapphire with a surprise though Ratholas interjected before the other dragon could speak. ''Sapphire, Zeek is missing and this may be a ploy to lure us to our deaths.''

The man glanced around before slapping Kona. ''Where is she?!" He asked.

Kona was surprised at the attack and backed away. ''She is in the woods gathering herbs! Please leave her be! She is helping me! Her and my cousin are helping me!"

Kovu wasn't even glancing at the ground, he had his eyes closed to prevent any further panic. ''Thank you.'' He said quietly to Rose then to Sapphire of course. ''And sorry if I am squishing you...I have never been this high up.'' He whispered to Rose, feeling bad that he had to hold on so tight.

The man narrowed his eyes. ''Where is Rose?" He approached her. ''Tell me the truth.'' He growled.

Kona was rather surprised at his tone and glances around with a shaking head. ''I am sorry, she is gathering whatever herbs I gave her on a list. They could be anywhere. She should be back before the evening at the latest.''

Draig saw Sapphire and narrowed his eyes seeing humans. ''Sapphire! Are you alright!?" He called to her, Ratholas shortly behind him.

Kovu wrapped his arms around Rose, trying not to hold on to tight and hoped that she didn't mind he was basically hugging her for dear life.

Draig looked up towards the sky hearing Sapphire, narrowing his eyes at Ratholas before taking off to meet her.

Ratholas was ever so worried that Sapphire was calling them to fight after not finding Zeek anywhere.

One of the men found the hut and barged in looking for Rose. ''Where is Rose?" He asked. ''Where is she?"

Kona was shocked by the sudden entrance and shook her head. ''She is searching for herbs. She is so kind for giving me a hand.''

Rods found two strong men that were willing to search for Rose. She sent one off to the hit and the other into the woods. She wanted to find Rose right away, knowing she was just lying to her parents.

Kovu looked so confused as Rose got on her back before he nodded quickly.”Oh right! Makes sense!” He followed up behind Rose and was truly terrified now. He was still on the fence about dragons,, only because he heard nothing of the conversations. Though as a child he heard of dragons being able to do this with people, but the people never return after leaving with the dragon that spoke to them. He was worried that was what was going to happen to Rose and him as he was with her. “I am trusting everything you say, Rose.”

Ratholas was searching for Zeek after chastising Kanguard for ignoring the older dragon. Sarkany seemed unaffected by it as she didn't care much for Zeek. He was too old for her and really would be no fun compared to the other dragons. Kanguard, however, did care for the older dragon but in a sense of respect. He was really a pushover and found it hard to tell Sarkany no, or the other dragons the same.

''Kalores keep the two in the cave while Draig and I search for Zeek. He could have simply fallen asleep somewhere or something, but he has apparently been missing a while.'' Ratholas ordered as Draig reluctantly followed after him.

Kovu nodded to what Rose said. ''We by all means tried to stop it. I tried to sabotage weapons in between my chores...and everything...we didn't even know of the attack and feel terrible. We want to become friends not only so she didn't have to marry some crazy man, but to change the lives for each other.'' He looked down at the ground as he really felt bad for the kill.

Kovu bowed his head, not sure how to interact with the dragon and understand what was happening between Sapphire and Rose. ''Yes, exactly! I am completely on Rose's side here. I want peace with the dragons too.'' He said quietly before looking a bit worried. ''Or maybe you two can stay friends, I am sure there is no dragon that would...uh...want to talk to me.'' He was beyond nervous and he wasn't making any sense in his mind. ''Don't want to push it of course!"
