Chelsea had been spending most of the day inside of Squad One's new "headquarters". She had fallen asleep on one of the couches, which they had brought into the building, and had only recently woken up. The group had fallen so far from their once prestigious origins. Now people blamed them for what had happened, for The Puppeteer taking over. Maybe it was our fault... She thought to herself, shouldn't they have noticed that there was something going on with their leader, they should have noticed long before this had happened. She sighed, there was really nothing that they could do about that now, no, they had to deal with any future plans their ex leader might have up his sleeve. There was no way that he was finished with them, he would be wanting to wipe them all out, that or get them to join him, she supposed that either would work for him. She pushed herself up into a sitting position and then stood up, she really couldn't sleep all day, no matter how much she wanted to. After a quick glance around her surroundings she realized that she was alone, the others had obviously gone out of the building for whatever reason, most of them were probably close by, no-one really dared to venture too far, not with all that was going on. Heading for the door she walked out and she could hear voices nearby, just outside of the building. As she headed for the door to the building she could see their new leader Ricky at the door, carrying what appeared to be an injured Johnny. Her pace quickened and she made it to the others, that was when she spotted the guy outside with the gun. "Okay, seriously what did I miss? What's going on guys?" Alias: Nighthawk Age: 27 Gender: Female Alliance: Member of Squad One, would come under Chaotic Neutral, sometimes takes things to far in a fight. Interests: Animals, zoology, reading, mythology, fantasy and sleeping. Appearance: So first of all, Chelsea has two different forms to her appearance. The first is her more human form where she looks pretty much like a regular 27 year old. She has thick, chin length, dark brown hair which can appear a bit messy at times. Her eye colour flickers between three colours, dark brown, dark red and black, the change comes about when she uses her main power. She isn't very tall only standing at around 5 feet 4 inches tall yet she loves her small height, she has slightly tanned skin and a slightly muscular build. She has a scar on her face which cuts across her right eye, down across her mouth and which ends on the left side of her collar bone. Her second form is, just a little bit different. When she gained her powers this also began to appear. Her skin becomes a deep, crimson red colour and parts of her body take on a scaly, snake-like feel, her eyes in this form are a bright golden amber colour. Clothing wise she tends to go for darker colours, simply out of personal preference. She is often seen wearing a black leather jacket over a long sleeved gray or black t-shirt. In terms of trousers she will wear close fitting combat trousers or jeans if she is feeling casual, the combats will either be black or khaki green if she wears them. In terms of shoes she goes for a comfortable pair of black combat boots. This is also what she wears while fighting although she will add a scarf which she uses to cover the lower half of her face while she fights. Personality: Chelsea certainly isn't the nicest or most sympathetic person that you will meet. She often appears rather cold but she does often care, she just, doesn't show it. She is very sarcastic and witty, often cracking jokes and teasing the villains, bothering people at the worst of times, egging them on and asking for them to attack her. She doesn't often like many people as she prefers her own company but she works well with the team and seems to get along with most of them. To those she is close to she shrugs off the colder personality and appears rather nice and caring. She often worries about what others will think about her and she is afraid that others will be scared of her when they see her second form. She may have questionable morals when it comes to fighting but she truly believes that what she is doing is correct. She can often be found lying around on a couch taking a power nap as this is how she recharges herself and her powers. Abilities/Super power: Shadow Manipulation This is her main power, she can control shadows at will. She can manipulate ones that already exist around her or she can create ones herself. She can use these shadows to hide herself from others or she can use them as a dark blanket, filling a room with shadows to blind her opponents. She can also make solid shadows as a kind of force blast to attack her enemies. She often coats her hands and arms in fire like shadows that burn to the touch. Her ability hasn't reached its full potential yet and she could yet find more ways to use them. When she is using this power her form begins to change and she often doesn't use it for too long, or too extensively. Teleportation This one kinda explains itself right? She can teleport from place to place at will although she struggles to travel over long distances. When she teleports a blue aura forms around her which she can occasionally expand to protect herself for short amounts of time. She is also unsure of using this power to move places where she hasn't been before. Shapeshifting (kinda) She can change between her two forms at will but while using her shadow manipulation she struggles to stay in her regular (primary) human form. While in her red (secondary), "demon-like" form she is much stronger as are her powers yet she doesn't like using that form. One major benefit of her secondary form is that she is completely immune to psychic abilities of any kind. History: Chelsea was born in Scotland and lived there for much of her life. She first discovered her powers when she was 16 when she accidentally hurt a couple of people who were bullying her by lashing out at them with her powers. Of course the bullies just said that it was her who had hit them and injured them. After that she became more careful, honing her powers but never where she could be seen by those who might know her. She took to fighting back-alley crime and often came home with bruises, though her parents didn't notice, they were both busy fighting with each other. She changed into her secondary form by accident once in front of everyone and that was it, she fled, teleporting away from prying eyes. At just 18 years old she was on the run. She continued to fight the crime wherever she saw it but she became more closed off, hiding from others. It was on one of her back-alley crime fights that she had first met the members of Squad one, they asked her to join and at first she said no. She didn't want to join their team to fight crime, she could do that on her own. Her mind was changed when she got into a bad way during a fight, she thought she was dead, then she was saved by Daniel Faustus and other members of squad one. When their leader betrayed them she was broken, thinking that everything she had fought for was worth nothing. She even considered turning and fighting against the heroes, yet something stopped her. Now she fights with the remnants of Squad One, cleaning up the streets and fighting against their former leader. Extra information: She has no qualms about killing the villains and the only reason she doesn't is because of the team. Her morals are often more questionable than they should be for a hero.
