The first thing most people see of him is his the top of his black head of hair bobbing up and down. He has dark green eyes, like the leaves of the Alacardian forests he saw when he was a kid. His skin is rather pale from growing up in a cold country much unlike the sunny, tropical islands. He gets easily sunburned, especially on his face, and while traveling through warmer countries it's not uncommon to see him with badly-sunburnt cheeks if he forgets to constantly take cover in the shade. His tactician's coat is made for cold weather, being lined with white fur, so he doesn't usually wear it unless he's in a cold region. Personality: His personality can be rather volatile, especially when things such as his height are brought up. It's not really that he hates being short, and in fact he often uses it to his advantage, but he's just so tired of people bringing it up and trying to make a joke out of him for it. He doesn't take crap from anybody, and he's always more than willing to fight anyone, anywhere. He's rather sassy, especially towards friends and people he knows can take a joke. If he's staring at you, chances are he's thinking of the best place to stab you, unless you've proven yourself worthy of his friendship and loyalty. Usually this involves always being down to beat someone up on a moment's notice, but free food has been proven work as well. History(optional): Alastar's parents are merchants, and as such he learned how to handle, take care of, and evaluate weapons as well as things such as clothing, food, supplies, jewelry, etc. On top of that, he knows how to avoid being mugged, and how to chase down any thief who dared to steal their wares. One day while dealing with some spell books, he decided to test one and found he had a knack for using magic. On his 18th birthday, he decided to leave the family business (he had siblings who were more interested anyways) to travel the continent and learn new skills, and hopefully find his true passion along the way. PERSONALITY: Rune is an ambivert, meaning that he loves to be around people but often needs alone time to "recharge" himself. If there's one thing he loves, it's friends and everything about them. He loves making friends, being friends, learning about his friends, spending quality time with them, etc. People tend to mistake his friendliness (especially towards girls) as him trying to pick up dates or as a sort of sexual/romantic attraction, but really he just enjoys platonic love. To Rune, he regards everyone as a good guy until proven true or false, and is a huge believer in the whole "anyone can change" idea. It's very easy for him to forgive and forget, as it's his personality to go with the flow. He's generally rather submissive in decision-making unless he's with a friend that riles him up or makes him excited, but has an attitude that says "you wanna go bro fight me right now." In reality he's a cream puff that will leak strawberry filling if he actually fights. If one of his close friends is insulted or hurt, he'll "joke" about bringing back the severed head of the offender. (No one knows if he's joking or not, and no one's given him the chance.) HISTORY: Growing up, Rune had both depression and anxiety until in trainer school he made friends with two boys his age named Cord and Bradley. After becoming friends with them, his anxiety lessened and his depression went away completely. Slowly, he began to grow braver and more headstrong as his friend's personalities began to rub off on him, until he and his Banette worked up enough courage to follow the mysterious letter that he got in the mail.
